About Elise
Raised beneath the deep blue skies and inexhaustible palette of the Caribbean there was an inevitability that Elise Compson would pursue her career within the fashion and related arena. Her brand “By Elise” and her designs are synonymous with the vibrancy, light and warmth of an upbringing spent in the West Indies and Africa
Elise developed her design and product skills after much time spent in Hong Kong and London before arriving in Yorkshire where she has developed her nationwide reputation for jewellery which is best described as “classic with a contemporary twist” and “style by design”
Her first love are freshwater baroque pearls and her extensive knowledge of these and gemstones was founded from the myriad of artisans in Tsim Sha Tsui a famed area of Hong Kong. Her favourite are the truly lustrous baroque freshwater pearls which are often one of a kind and truly make a statement. Chosen for their baroque nature where the texture and shape provide for style, fashion, fun and above all enjoyment.

Her jewellery Collection consists of Necklaces, Pendants, Earrings and Bracelets in silver and gold vermeil – handmade with beautiful coloured gemstones and luminous freshwater pearls. The designs are timeless – both contemporary and classic incorporating texture and luxury to create jewellery that you want to wear.
The more bold rough cut glamorous stone necklaces can be worn to reflect a woman’s personality and make a stunning impact. These reflect Elise’s signature style of casual elegance. Her aim is to provide fashion that can be worn equally to a dinner or out shopping. Like her jewellery there is a sense of versatility, and the option for making it your own.
